Traditional July 4th Celebration
The
4th of July Celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. with
patriotic speeches, music, and a reading of the
Declaration of Independence, at the Rapp Owen
Granary, free and open to the public. Dr. Martha
Raske, from USI will be the featured speaker "Miss
Jane Addams".
The
festivities move to Maclure Park in New Harmony
where the community picnic and decorated golf cart
parade will begin at 11 a.m. Music will be
provided by the Red Bank Reunion Band. The picnic
will have hot dogs, hamburgers, bratwurst, cobbler
and ice cream for sale. Games and free root beer
will be available for everyone.

honoring the founding fathers of New Harmony with
music, food, arts & crafts and family fun. Come
enjoy New Harmony's annual celebration of German
Heritage with hand made arts & crafts, live music
and food. Located throughout the town of New
Harmony, ride a horse drawn wagon through New
Harmony's historic streets. Enjoy live music and

7th Annual Golden Raintree Auto Show & Shine
and town wide yard sale. The town wide
yard sale begins at 8am. You can pick up a map of
participants at the Old Mill Mart, 1128 E Church
Street as you enter New Harmony.
Registration begins at 9am and ends at 12:00 noon
for all Car Show participants. Motorcycles welcome
again this year. Trophies for Top 50, Club Participation, Early Bird and
Distance. Awards Ceremony starts at 2:00 p.m.
Music provided by DJ Doo Wop Shop and food by the

Harmony
An open air art and fine craft fair in historic New
Harmony, Indiana. Captivating Art, Happy Music
and Fine Food! For more information click on

On May 2008 artists and business people of
the town of New Harmony will host an arts festival
that is open to regional and national artists. This
will give those who want an excuse to visit this
charming town this spring a whole weekend to enjoy
the sights, food and peaceful atmosphere for which
New Harmony is famous. The work of artists and
crafts people will be available for viewing and sale
in the town’s church park. A large tent under which
artists exhibit their works will provide shade. Food
and music will add to the festivities.
Hours for Arts in
Harmony will be Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and
Sunday from 11 a.m. – 4p.m. Admission is Free.
